BAND: MY CHILDREN NEED WINE
TONIGHT: It's Apple Juice boys!
Can you remember your first trip to Brighton?
What's it like for a young band from the north (Wigan to be precise) playing their first gig down south - all the way down in Brighton? Will they just fall off an edge and drown in the sea?
Paul Chi presents
ACOUSTIC WARM UP
In this healthy Concerts inquiry, Mathew Drummond and Collin Nicholl (guitarist and singer from the band) walk the tight-rope of their pre-gig nerves, answering some poignant questions about life in the 21st century and humbly introducing their new punk-metal material in a naked unplugged gigs in digs setting!

Collin - Singer
Mathew - Guitarist
Phil - Drummer
Danny - Bassist
My Children Need Wine are about to storm Brighton. Un-commercialised, they don't stick to one genre. The music constantly changes from punk to ska to metal... each member using his own unique talent to gel with the others - and it fits. Holding a melody at one moment and shouting and screaming at the next, Colin comes across as... just one big lovable shaking shaggy dog! I must ask him about the 'odd' accent. Mathew is probably the musical architect behind the band. His guitar playing usually includes nifty little ska riffs and is otherwise original. There's heaps of energy coming from the bottom end, with Phil & Danny rock solid on Drum & Bass... and now its count down to lift off. So look up!
Influences: System of a Down, The Sex Pistols, Less Than Jake, Greenday and NOFX
